TOKU to Run "Ultraseven X" and "Queen's Blade: The Wandering Warrior"

Subscribers to Xfinity, Amazon Prime, and other select on-demand services will have a chance to watch Ultraseven and Queen's Blade on television starting early next month. TOKU, a 24/7 service dedicated to anime and live-action Japanese entertainment, will be running both series.

Ultraseven X is the 21st installment in the long-running Ultra series, and the first to be made exclusively for an adult audience. The 12-episode series originally aired in October 2007. It will be aired on TOKU from June 5-12, with two back-to-back episodes every weeknight starting at 7 pm Eastern.

Also premiering on TOKU on June 5 is Wandering Warrior, the first series of the Queen's Blade anime adaptation. Based on the gamebooks of the same name by Hobby Japan, Queen's Blade follows Leina Vance as she journeys to the Queen's Blade tournament. It was originally released in North America by Media Blasters under the title Queen's Blade: The Exiled Virgin. Episodes will run every Monday night at 10 PM Eastern.

TOKU runs a variety of anime, tokusatsu, and J-drama 24 hours a day. For a full schedule, visit their website.
