The Osomatsu brothers would probably prefer to laze around and do nothing all summer. But their new collaboration with the Imaginary Aquarium product line is encouraging families across Japan to do anything but.
Imaginary Aquarium is a line of cute hybrid critters said to belong to a fantasy aquarium -- hamster sharks, otter-toos, jellybears, and other weird but adorable creatures. The animals are teaming up with the Osomatsu brothers for Mr. Osomatsu x Imaginary Aquarium's Real Aquarium Tours, along with the Sunshine Aquarium in Toshima.
The event will feature special family tours, themed merchandise, and collab cafes to bring kids and parents out to the aquarium together. There are also plans to have a similar event at Kyoto Aquarium later in the summer, and the event will tour other aquariums around Japan throughout the next few months.
Mr. Osomatsu x Imaginary Aquarium's Real Aquarium Tours runs nationwide from July to September, with events at the Sunshine Aquarium running from September 8-24. The dates for Kyoto Aquarium have yet to be announced.
