Monster Girl Hearts Race in "A Centaur's Life" Trailer

A full length trailer, a 15 second TV CM, and the Japanese broadcast schedule have all been released for A Centaur's Life, an upcoming TV anime based on the monster girl manga by Kei Murayama.

The original A Centaur's Life manga (known as Centaur no Nayami in Japan) is serialized in Tokuma Shoten's Monthly Comic Ryū seinen manga magazine. An English language version of the A Centaur's Life manga is published by Seven Seas Entertainment, who describe the story as follows:

"Being a teenager is never easy… especially for a centaur! Himeno is a sweet, shy girl, who like many teens her age, struggles with the trials and tribulations of attending high school. The difference is she’s a centaur; but she’s not alone. In fact, all of her classmates are supernatural creatures, sporting either horns, wings, tails, halos, or some other unearthly body appendage. Yet despite their fantastical natures, Himeno and her best friends-the dragon-winged Nozomi, and Kyoko with her spiraled horns-are down-to-earth, fun-loving teenagers who grapple with issues of life and love in a mostly normal daily school setting."

The A Centaur's Life TV anime is directed by Fumitoshi Oizaki and Naoyuki Konno and features animation by Animation Company Emon and Encourage Films. The series will broadcast in Japan according to the following schedule:

All Aboard the "Eromanga Sensei" Pain Plane

If you think your little airplane can't be this cute, think again. eFlight Academy, which trains future pilots and air traffic controllers, is joining forces with the team behind Eromanga Sensei to roll out the air's answer to itasha.

Dubbed an "itahikouki," this Piper PA-46 is decked out with decals of the characters and branding from both the show and the academy. And that's not all -- the cockpit has been revamped to look like Sagiri Izumi's room. The plane was originally shown on Niconico, and was available for limited special flights.

Those who missed the previous appearances and want a closer look can head down to Nagoya Airfield on June 3 between 10 AM and 4 PM. Admission is 1,000 yen for middle school students and older, and free for elementary school age and younger. There will be no ropes or fences around the plane, so visitors can feel free to get up close, take photos, and look inside the cockpit.

Three visitors will also win an autograph from Sagiri's voice actress, Akane Fujita. The winners will be chosen randomly after the airfield visit and announced on the collaboration's website in early June.

Thank the Guardian Spirits, "Denshin Mamotte Shugogetten" Is Coming to Blu-Ray

With shades of Ah! My Goddess and a rocking opening theme, the original series of Mamotte Shugogetten earned enough of a following to receive an eight-episode OVA. Sadly, the OVA never got a proper box set release. Fortunately for fans, that's being rectified this year.

Denshin Mamotte Shugogetten returns to schoolboy Tasuke, his moon spirit "guardian angel" Shaorin, and the rest. The series was originally released from 2000-2001. This new Blu-Ray box will use FORS technology to create what's expected to be some beautiful HD video of all eight episodes.

The set will also include a variety of digital and physical bonuses. Scenes cut from the first episode will be available to watch, as well as a cast interview. The set will also include a booklet with never-before seen artwork.

A few stores are already promising special bonuses, too. Animate will include an A4-size clear file, and Amazon.co.jp will be offering an A3 tapestry along with box set orders.

The Denshin Mamotte Shugogetten box set goes on sale December 6 for 16,000 yen (about $144.25).

Get Slimed: There's a New "Dragon Quest" Laptop Available

If you've got Dragon Quest fever but a new game and custom controller aren't enough, how about an official Dragon Quest branded laptop? Japanese computer dealer TSUKUMO is teaming up with Square Enix and ACER to bring you the new "Metal Slime" PC, complete with that happy familiar face you know and love.

The unit itself is an ACER Aspire V13 V3-372-H58G, a lightweight but powerful little unit with 8 GB of memory, a 1 TB hard drive, and a Core i5-6267 processor. It comes ready to go with Windows 10 Home edition and KINGSOFT Office 2013.

Oh, and it comes with two wallpapers to make your desktop extra cool.

Buyers also get codes for some neat in-game items for Dragon Quest X:

Metal Brothers House: Fits on a small lot.

Liquid Metal Slime Arm Band: Equips at level 1 for all races and classes. May look different based on your character model. Because it fills the same slot as an umbrella, it may not be visible during battle.

Metal Brothers Suit: Wearable in private rooms in the in-game village.

Metal Slime Chime (Indoor x1, Outdoor x1): May be displayed in houses built in the in-game village.

In addition, you will receive a ticket allowing you to get either a small or medium sized lot of land in-game.

The laptop costs 107,784 yen (about $972.16) including tax. Unsurprisingly, it is currently sold out, but more may be in stock before long.
