"Dragon Quest X" Launches Later This Year On PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch

Dragon Quest X will finally be touching down in Japan for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch later this year, with PlayStation 4 owners getting their hands on the game on August 17 and Switch players having to wait until September 21.

The game will launch as the “All-in-One Package” version, which will include all three Version updates and DLC previously made available for the MMORPG, so players won’t have to pay extra for the additional content. It’ll cost about 1,500 yen a month for PlayStation 4 players for five characters, and between 1,000 and 1,500 yen a month for three to five for Switch players.

There’ll be a special beta test coming up on July 19 and running through August 10 for players who can’t wait to get their hands on the game, so if you’re in Japan look forward to that, and check out some of the footage from the Square Enix showcase below!
