Last month, when two-person voice actress unit petit milady teased a big May announcement, many fans feared the worst. YuiKaori and sphere, two other voice actress units, had recently announced an indefinite hiatus each, and the timing seemed dire.
Fortunately, the announcement is pretty much the exact opposite of what fans feared. Not only is the unit not going anywhere, they're planning a big summer concert and announcing the release of their fourth album this fall.
The unit, which consists of Aoi Yuuki and Ayana Taketatsu, appeared live at Media Plus Hall to meet fans and make announcements. Their first was the official announcement of "Petit Milady x Maihara Amphitheater," a summer concert taking place on July 2. The event will feature separate morning and evening components.
Secondly, the pair announced that their fourth album would be arriving this coming September... and as if that weren't already big news, yet another live event is being planned for December.
The pair is also planning a collaboration with JOYSOUND karaoke, who will offer video of the unit's live performances on their karaoke machines. And JOYSOUND stores in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka will be doing a mini-collaboration event, featuring special drinks, coasters, and decor themed to the unit.
In short... don't worry about them breaking up the act anytime soon.
