Two New Voices Join "Shoukoku no Altair"

MAPPA's upcoming adaptation of Kotono Katou's manga Shoukoku no Altair is already wowing people with its visuals, staff, and cast list. Now, they've added two more voices to listen out for:

Takuya Satou (Jet Link, Cyborg 009: Call of Justice) will be appearing as Hisar Ibrahim, the best friend of protagonist Mahmut.

And Yoko Hikasa (Mio, K-ON!) will be playing Shara, the capital's most prestigious dancer.

The series is set in a fictional version of 15th-century Europe, where Türkiye's 17-year-old pasha attempts to prevent war from breaking out between his homeland and their neighbors. The anime adaptation is due for release sometime this year.
