If you've got Dragon Quest fever but a new game and custom controller aren't enough, how about an official Dragon Quest branded laptop? Japanese computer dealer TSUKUMO is teaming up with Square Enix and ACER to bring you the new "Metal Slime" PC, complete with that happy familiar face you know and love.
The unit itself is an ACER Aspire V13 V3-372-H58G, a lightweight but powerful little unit with 8 GB of memory, a 1 TB hard drive, and a Core i5-6267 processor. It comes ready to go with Windows 10 Home edition and KINGSOFT Office 2013.
Oh, and it comes with two wallpapers to make your desktop extra cool.
Buyers also get codes for some neat in-game items for Dragon Quest X:
Metal Brothers House: Fits on a small lot.
Liquid Metal Slime Arm Band: Equips at level 1 for all races and classes. May look different based on your character model. Because it fills the same slot as an umbrella, it may not be visible during battle.
Metal Brothers Suit: Wearable in private rooms in the in-game village.
Metal Slime Chime (Indoor x1, Outdoor x1): May be displayed in houses built in the in-game village.
In addition, you will receive a ticket allowing you to get either a small or medium sized lot of land in-game.
The laptop costs 107,784 yen (about $972.16) including tax. Unsurprisingly, it is currently sold out, but more may be in stock before long.
