This year's Nico Nico Chokaigi organized by Japan's largest video social website Nico Nico was held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture, the same venue as the previous years, for two days on April 29 and 30, attracting 154,601 visitors in total. Many of its events and contents featuring game, anime, vocaloid, dance, cosplay, kabuki, railway, politics, technology, cooking, sports and many others were live-streamed via the Nico Nico Live service, and were viewed by 5,059,976 people on the net.
