The “Fédération Internationale de Natation” (FINA) swimming, diving and water polo organization, brought its Synchronised Swimming World Series 2017 to Tokyo last week. The Japanese team that won all the team events and took second in the solo aspects of competition. Ona Carbonell of Spain was the only athlete to beat the locals. Of interest to the despair-prone fans of Japanese media, one of the performances incorporated Spike Chunsoft's murder-mystery visual novel series Danganronpa.
