Previous material for the No Game No Life anime movie, set to open in Japan on July 15th, has all focused on not on Sora and Shiro but ,instead, Riku and Shuvi and a roster of similarly familiar-yet-different people from the backstory of volume 6. But now, past meets presents in a new visual, unveiled along with news that Konomi Suzuki sings theme "There is a Reason."
The TV anime's director Atsuko Ishizuka (Hanayamata, Prince of Stride: Alternative) is confirmed to helm the film as well. But instead of Kouji Ohya for the TV anime, Satoshi Tasaki (Fairy Musketeers, RIDEBACK) newly serves as the character designer.
