A new key visual, the Japanese broadcast schedule, and the opening and ending theme performers have all been revealed for Battle Girl High School, an upcoming TV anime based on the smart phone game by COLOPL. The key visual features all 18 members of the main cast.
The opening theme, "Hoshi no Kizuna" ("The Bonds of Stars"), will be performed in-character by all 18 of the main cast members of Battle Girl High School. The ending theme, entitled "Melody Ring", will be performed by vocal unit f*f. Both songs will be released as singles in Japan on July 26, 2017.
Battle Girl High School will broadcast in Japan according to the following schedule:
- Tokyo MX: every Sunday during the 24:30 time slot beginning on July 02, 2017.
- BS11: every Sunday during the 24:30 time slot beginning on July 02, 2017.
- Kansai TV: every Sunday during the 25:55 time slot beginning on July 02, 2017.
(Please note: some Japanese broadcast schedules count early-morning programming as late-night programming of the previous day, so for example the 25:55 time slot on Sunday evening is actually at 1:55 AM JST on Monday morning.)
Battle Girl High School is directed by Noriaki Akitaya and features animation by Silver Link. The story follows 18 students who attend Shinjugamine Girls Academy and who were chosed by the Shinju ("Sacred Tree") to protect the peace of the Earth. The girls receive "Heavenly Garments" which allow them to do battle with mysterious invaders known as the Irous.
