The third chapter has been published for Neko ga Kureta Maarui Shiawase ("The Round Happiness That the Cat Gave to Me"), a series of lavishly animated commercials commissioned by the Marui Group Co., Ltd retail store that recount short, pleasant stories of grown-up life.
In the latest episode, series protagonist Mari Hirakura (voiced by Maaya Uchida) attempts to practice yoga in the park, but her meditative mood is constantly disrupted by noisy distractions, until she takes a cue from a stray cat named Oi-tan (voiced by Takahiro Sakurai).
Earlier chapters feature Mari accomplishing a difficult project at her job designing packing for a cosmetics company and attempting to find romance via baked goods.
The Neko ga Kureta Maarui Shiawase CM series is directed by Ryoutarou Makihara (The Empire of Corpses) and features series composition and screenplays by Deko Akao and animation by Yokohama Animation Lab. A total of four chapters are planned for the series.
