X Founder Back on His Feet for "We Are X" Film Screening

Thanks to skilled surgeons in California, X founder and drummer Yoshiki bounced back from injuries that could potentially have ended his career. It was expected that he would be out of the spotlight for quite a while as he recovered, but fans in Europe will have a chance to see him as soon as next month.

Yoshiki will be making a special appearance at the French premiere of We Are X, a documentary about the legendary visual kei band. The film will debut before a Paris audience on July 7 as part of this year's Japan Expo.

Fans who want a jump on the crowd will also have an opportunity to see the film a day early. Yoshiki will be hosting a preview screening July 6 at 8:30 PM at Paris's Club de l'Etoile. Tickets are 10 euros for general seating, or 15 euros for seating with Yoshiki. (Online transactions also include a 0.99 euro handling fee.) Check out the club's website for more information and to purchase tickets.

We Are X is an award-winning documentary chronicling the life of Yoshiki and the rise of X as a rock back, especially as they find their way in the American music scene. The film includes interviews with Gene Simmons, Stan Lee, and many others. Check out the official website for more information.
