From the team that brought you Spiritpact and The Silver Guardian comes another Chinese/Japanese anime co-productions, based on another popular web manhua. We reported earlier about the upcoming Fox Spirit Matchmaker, and now Haoliners has released a 30-second PV showing us the world of the new series.
Three new characters have also been announced:
Tosan Yaya (CV Madoka Yonezawa): Eldest daughter of the 3 Tosan sisters, she’s currently the strongest of the Tosan Clan and she can manipulate Ice. She also seems to have doubt about Suusu’s identity…(?)
Tosan Lolo (CV Hisako Kanemoto): Second daughter of the Tosan Family, she’s the “brain” and of the family. She is also the one managing the business.
Ou Fuuki (CV Daisuke Kirii): First enemy of our main character Haku Gessho, he’s rich and arrogant. For some reasons he doesn’t like things about Spirits. His spirit power is low.
Fox Spirit Matchmaker takes place in a world where Humans and Spirits coexist and can fall in love. But upon death and reincarnation, humans lose their memories. Fortunately, the "Fox Spirit Matchmakers" exist, offering to revive the memories of former lovers after they are reincarnated. The original manhua, created by Xiao Xin and serialized by Tencent, has received over seven billion page views.
Fox Spirit Matchmaker airs on Tokyo MX1 every Saturday starting July 1.
