Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra to Hold "Kemono Friends" Symphonic Concert on July 30

In addition to the upcoming stage play (June 14-18) and concert (September 16) by the voice cast members, Kemono Friends plans to offer one more live attraction for the fans. The franchise's official website has announced that a symphonic concert featuring the anime music, titled "Mori no Ongakukai" (The Concert in the Woods), will be held twice (14:00, 18:30) at Tokyo Opera City Concert Hall on July 30, 2017. 61-year-old Taizo Takemoto will conduct the concert to be performed by Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, the oldest classical orchestra in Japan founded in 1911.

 

Advance sale of the tickets for the fan club members will begin on June 13, then that for the general audience will follow on June 21. The price for the S-seat is 8,640 yen, that for the A-seat is 6,480 yen.

Meanwhile, the TV anime director Tatsuki reported on his official Twitter today that the first episode had 

been viewed over eight million times on Nico Nico Douga. As of now, it has been watched 8,042,340 times

with 1,166,895 comments in five months since it was posted on January 13. The most watched anime

first episode on the video streaming site is that of Is The Order a Rabbit? that was posted in April 2014

and has been watched 9,077,670 times so far.
