Sailor Moon continues to rock its anniversary year with new merch, crossovers, cafes, and more. And now, fans in Japan can take home another part of Sailor Moon history, when the entirety of the Sailor Moon R TV series is released on Blu-Ray later this year.
The first box contains the Doom Tree arc (episodes 47-68), and the second box contains the Dark Moon arc (episodes 69-89). Each box will run 19,800 yen (about $178.24).
There's no word yet on the status of the R season's movie or of the other seasons and films. But with the anniversary still going strong, we can certainly hope that this means high-quality releases for the rest of the original series!
Volume 1 goes on sale in Japan October 4; Vol. 2 comes out December 6.
