Popular Voice Actors Sugita, Mizuki, Suzuki, Sawashiro Join Japanese "Power Rangers" Dub

2017's Power Rangers movie opens in Japan on July 15th. Back in March, actors Ryo Katsuji and Alice Hirose were introduced as the Red and Pink Rangers. Today, it was time for some seiyuu with the introductions of notables Tomokazu Sugita, Nana Mizuki, Tatsuhisa Suzuki and Miyuki Sawashiro as Blue, Pink, Black, and Rita Repulsa respectively.

31-year-old Miyuki Sawashiro remarked that she vividly remembers Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger, the 1992 show used for Mighty Morphin Power Rangers' action scenes, and aims to live up to her impression of Machiko Soga's Bandora.

The Japanese cast stands at:

Jason Scott / Red Ranger - Ryo Katsuji

Kimberly Hart / Pink Ranger - Alice Hirose

Billy Cranston / Blue Ranger - Tomokazu Sugita (Gintama's Gintoki, Haruhi's Kyon)

Trini / Yellow Ranger - Nana Mizuki (Naruto's Hinata)

Zack Taylor/ Black Ranger - Tatsuhisa Suzuki (Free!'s Makoto Tachibana)

Rita Repulsa - Miyuki Sawashiro (Durarara!!'s Celty)

Zordon - Arata Furuta

Alpha 5 - Ryota Yamasato
