Next "Atelier" Game Announced Along with "Atelier Online"

Following up on the recent tease, Koei Tecmo and Gust came through with an announcement for the next main game in the Atelier series. This one is titled Riddii to Suuru no Atelier ~Fushigi no Kaiga no Renkinjutsushi~, and folks are already having fun working out the best way to translate those character names. For now we'll echo the full title from Gematsu: Atelier Liddy and Soeur: Alchemists of the Mysterious Painting

As you can guess from the title, this one continues the Mysterious series with a new pair of protagonists, which are being designed by Yuugen and Noco. You can see their silhouettes below.

While there isn't much more on that at the moment, Koei Tecmo, Gust, and NHN PlayArt teamed up to announce another game, Atelier Online: Alchemists of Braceir. This free-to-play RPG will feature microtransactions when it hits iOS and Android in Japan this winter.

Atelier Online will allow you to adventure and synthesize online with other players. Fields, monsters, and items change with the time, season, and weather, and there are plenty of ways to fuse items with the synthesis system. There will also be customizable outfits, skills, and equipment.

Here's the debut trailer:

Look for more info around the time of this September's Tokyo Game Show.

This one's also via Gematsu. Thanks!
