"Mobile Suit Gundam Twilight AXIS" Anime Streaming Scheduled

Last fall, Sunrise, makers of some of your favorite mecha anime, launched their own light novel imprint -  "Yatate Bunko", named after staff pseudonym Hajime Yatate. Its offerings explored Gundam events occurring shortly after UC 0096's Laplace's Box Incident (Gundam Unicorn) in Mobile Suit Gundam: Twilight Axis,. Ark Performance (Arpeggio of Blue Steel, Gundam's Johnny Ridden stories) came up with the story and designs, Koujirou Nakamura (Arpeggio and Arslan anime, plus Gundam manga series ZZ Side Story: Mirage of Zeon and Climax U.C.: Tsumugareshi Kizuna) wrote it. With an anime coming up, streaming plans have been announced.

Sunrise has created an anime adaptation of the serialized novel “Mobile Suit Gundam Twilight AXIS” that is published on the original content site "Yatate Bunko”! 


The first 3 minutes from the beginning will be streamed on GUNDAM.INFO from June 23 !Let’s check it out!

 

 

 


 
【Story】

Late U.C. 0096. The Earth Federation government, regarding the existence of the "psycho-frame" as a threat, organizes the Mastema special forces team under the command of Lieutenant JG Mehmet Merca, a member of its intelligence bureau. The team is ordered to enter and investigate part of the shattered asteroid Axis, which is drifting in the Earth Sphere. The investigative team accompanying Mehmet includes two civilians named Arlette Almage and Danton Highleg, who were formerly an engineer and a test pilot with the Principality of Zeon and Neo Zeon.

While investigating a supposedly unoccupied facility within Axis, Mastema comes under attack from a new model of Gundam that belongs to a private militia called Birnam. Arlette and Danton fight back using a red Zaku III Custom, a mobile suit they once helped develop. As the fighting escalates, Arlette, following a secret agenda of her own, makes her way to the wreckage of the Sazabi that lies abandoned on the surface of Axis...

 

 

The ONA cast features Risa Shimizu (Angelica, Show by Rock!!) as Arlette, Shuuhei Sakaguchi (Yuusuke Takinoue, Haikyuu!!) as Dalton, Toshiki Masuda (Kurusu, Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress) as Quentin Fermo, and Daisuke Ono (Sebastian, Black Butler) as Mehmet Merka.
