Hey! Pikmin marks a unique departure for the series, as the strategic action moves into the realm of side-scrollers. With Captain Olimar stranded on a planet and in need of 30,000 Sparklium to take off again, he calls upon various colors of Pikmin to help him complete his mission and stay alive in the process.

Hey! Pikmin hits Nintendo 3DS in Japan on July 13, followed by a western release on July 28.
