In 2016, Satoru Noda's Golden Kamuy beat Erased, Delicious in Dungeon/Dungeon Meshi, Tokyo Tarareba Girls and more to win the Manga Taishō Award, an annual recognition for newer manga with eight volumes of less, slected by Japan's bookstore workers. It was also nominated for 20th Osamu Tezuka Cultural Prize and 40th Kodansha Manga Award. The 2016 Kono Manga ga Sugoi!/Incredible Manga guide listed it as #2 for male readers. It's now getting released In North America by Viz on June 20th.
