The official trailer is now available online for Kodomo Tsukai (previously known in English as Little Nightmares, now known in English as Innocent Curse), an upcoming supernatural horror movie from Ju-On director Takashi Shimizu.
In Kodomo Tsukai, Shunya Ezaki (played by Arioka Daiki) is a small town reporter investigating a string of mysterious disappearances and deaths. According to an Internet rumor, a supernatural curse is killing off adults three days after the children in their care disappear.
The investigation takes a dark turn when Shunya's girlfriend, Nahomi (played by Mugi Kadokawi), loses track of one of the children from the kindergarten where she works and begins being plagued by visions of ghostly children. The movie also features Hey! Say! Jump singer Hideaki Takizawa, who plays a leading role as a mysterious man associated with the "children's curse".
Kodomo Tsukai hits theaters in Japan on June 17, 2017. The title of the movie literally translates to "Children's Errands".
