Steampunk Meets Yamato Nadesico As New "Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress" Figure Adapts Legendary Character Designer's Art

Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress brought in the some prestigious talent for its original  charater design with Haruhiko Mikimoto, known for his work on Super Dimension Fortress Macross, as well as Gunbuster and Gundam 0080: War the Pocket. Late last year, Mikimoto himself supervised a 3D recreation of the design for a Mumei from Union Creative's Hdge technical statue series. Now, he's back for the steam powered bow-armed governer's daughter Ayame Yomogawa. As with Mumei, there seems to be a lot of attention paid to how clothes can cling to posterior of this formal, young lady.

The 25cm figure sells for 18,144yen ahead of a November release.
