J. A. Seazer, the Takaaki Terahara, better known as Julius Arnest "J.A." Caesar, wowed students of experimental theater with his music in the 1960's, then wowed anime fans in the 90's with his musci for Revolutionary Girl Utena. Now, he's back with his latest album, Barbara Dward Star Apocalypse - Arsenothelus The Absolute Resurrection and Orpheus The Absolute Gloom, set to be released June 21st.
He's back with Utena's Kunihiko Ikuhara, who introduces this "The children of the cry out Barabara! The Apocalypse has opened the door to the next chapter!" And, a Ikuhara concept is featured on the cover, as realized by Gekidan INU Curry, the pair of animators whose Russian and Czech inspired works can be seen in Shaft anime, including the witches in Madoka Magica, the ending of MariaHolic, parts of Bakemonogatari and various bookends and segments of Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei.
Pre-order bonus include mini-CDs with rare Utena recordings performed by J. A. Seazer himself.
