Puzzle Game Anime "18if" Reveals Mysteries of Cast and Crew

The main staff, cast, and a new key visual have been revealed for 18if, an upcoming TV anime based on the 18: Kimi to Tsunagaru Puzzle smart phone RPG / puzzle game by Mobcast.

The cast of 18if includes:

 

 

Nobunaga Shimazaki as Haruto Tsukishiro, a young man who gets caught up in adventures in the world of dreams after meeting the Professor Kanzaki and a mysterious girl named Lily.

 

 

Takehito Koyasu as Katsumi Kanzaki, a scientist who is studying the dream world and "Sleeping Beauty Sickness". Katsumi takes an interest in Haruto after the young man encounters Lily. In real life, Katsumi is a sloppy dresser with ruffled hair, but in the dream world, he takes the form of a gentlemanly cat.

 

 

Kaori Nazuka as Lily, a mysterious girl who comes and goes in the world of dreams. Only Haruto is capable of seeing Lily, and she sometimes refers to him as "Onii-chan".

 

 

18if is set in the world of dreams, in an unconscious realm between sleeping and waking formed of hopes, desires, and fears. The protagonist, Haruto, is always trying to nap in his own room, but he accidentally enters the dreams of other sleeping people. One day, he ends up trapped in the dream of a witch who wishes to escape reality, a condition called "Sleeping Beauty Sickness". Will Haruto be able to find the exit and return to the waking world?


18if will begin its Japanese broadcast on Tokyo MX and BS Fuji in July of 2017. The series has also been licensed for distribution in North America by Funimation.
