Kyoto Animation and Studio Do are back with their third annual fan event. At Rohm Theater Kyoto on October 21/22 with showcases of Violet Evergarden and Free - Take Your Make, plus Sound! Euphonium concerts, then Kyoto's Miyako Messe October 28-29.
Along with these plans, these revealed a visual with leads from recent and upcoming works (Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid, the anime movie adaptation of A Silent Voice, and Evergarden) joining more familiar faces.
In spring 2016, Kyoto Animation produced an anime promo for Violet Evergarden, along with news for another upcoming anime project. The book, written by Kana Akatsuki, won the grand prize winner of the 5th Kyoto Animation Award.
The story focuses on a scientist who, in order to help his blind wife continue to write her novels, created Auto Memories Dolls -- robots created to take dictation, but eventually lent out for other jobs.

Evergarden info brought to you by the studio event site either outright revealing it or strongly hinting at it. Not like it's a surprise.

Yamada and Kadowaki are the only ones from the main rotation without an immediate project so the might work together for once.
