"Made in Abyss" Will Be Larger Than Life at First Screening/Stage Event

Descent with Rico into the world of the Abyss next month when the anime adaptation of Made in Abyss premieres. To kick things off, a cinema screening of the first episode will be held, and some of the people behind the series will be in attendance.

The first-episode screening will be held June 18 at Kadokawa Cinema Shinjuku. In addition, attendees will get to witness a live talk show event onstage, featuring Miyu Tomita and Mariya Ise, the voices of Rico and Leg, respectively.

Made in Abyss is based on the manga of the same name by Akihito Tsukushi, who was also the character designer for Fairy Musketeers. It stars Rico, a young human girl who dreams of becoming a Cave Raider like her mother and travels down deep into the Earth to explore the unknown cave system known as the Abyss.

The series will premiere on television in July.
