Japanese Fashion Brand Uniqlo Celebrates "Star Wars" Anniversary With Artist T-Shirts

It's almost May 4th, as it "May the fourth (or Force) be with you" and Star Wars fans are getting ready to celebrate a big one, commemorating the 40th anniversary of the space opera (the original movie was released May 25, 1977. ) Japanese casual fashion brand Uniqlo is doing their part with a series of artist t-shirts, offered internationally. These got for $14.90 in America. 

The UK flagship is also celebrating with a May 4th event.

 

 

Geoff McFetridge 
Canadian-born artist and designer, Geoff McFetridge is based in Los Angeles and creates graphic images in fine lines and bold colours. His distinctive style is defined by an inventive and poetic exploration of graphics and can be found everywhere, from sneaker designs to museum walls.

 

Kevin Lyons
Kevin Lyons is a creative director, designer, illustrator and typographer from Brooklyn, New York, who has worked with NYC Ad Agency Anomaly and several fashion brands like Nike and Urban Outfitters.

 

James Jarvis
A British illustrator and a toy designer, James Jarvis was a pioneer of the soft vinyl designer toy revolution. He now creates characters at his own company Amos Toys.
