NHK World, the international service for Japan's public broadcaster, is preparing to take another look at the late career of revered anime directed Hayao Miyazaki in The Never-Ending Man. Planned for June 3 and 4, this one tracks Miyazaki's exploration of CGI filmmaking following an encounter with a young artist. It's desribed as a candid documentary look at Miyazaki as he crafts his first CGI film in an intimate behind-the-scenes portrait filmed over two years. It will be presented in Japanese with voice-over and/or subtitles in English.
