Broccoli's Otome Game "Kamigami no Asobi" Gets Stage Play Adaptation in August

Japanese media company Broccoli announced on May 18 that a stage play adaptation of its popular otome game Kamigami no Asobi: Ludere deorum is scheduled to be performed at the CBGK! Shibugeki theater in Tokyo from August 16 to 20 of this year. Eigeki Live Entertainment, recently produced live-stage adaptations of popular anime series, such as Hamatora, Lucky Star, Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion, and Saint Seiya, works on production.  

 

the story of the the stage play titled "Kamigami no Asobi The Stage: Tayou to Meifu no Kibou (Hope of The Sun and The Underworld)" focuses on Apollon and Hades in the Greek Myth. More details including its cast and ticket information will be revealed later.

 

 


 

The first game of the series was released in October 2013 for the PlayStation Portable. Its story centers

around an ordinary high school girl, Yui Kusanagi, who is unexpectedly invited to the god's world ruled by

the Greek god Zeus. Upon his request, she starts her school life with various young gods to teach them

what human is, and what love is.

 

 

The game's TV anime adaptation was produced by Brain's Base and aired for 12 episodes from April to June

2014. It has been also available to Crunchyroll members in the following territories: USA, Canada, UK, Ireland,

Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Netherlands, Scandinavia, Turkey, Latin America, France and DOM/TOM,

Belgium, Switzerland, Andorra, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco, Italy, Spain, Portugal,

Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein, Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Romania, the Middle East and the Arab League.
