Through the run of the Tiger Mask W anime, a number of the series' wrestlers have been appearing in the ring of New Japan Pro Wrestling events. This includes Red Mask, Tiger The Dark, and, of course, Tiger Mask (W). The general consensus is that, under the mask, the last of these is Kota Ibushi, a three-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion who resigned from NJPW in 2016 to work freelance. Now, as Tiger Mask W heads to his finale, Ibushi will be voicing himself for an appearance in the anime.
