At the rollout ceremony event for the 3rd OAD episode of the Mahou Tsukai no Yome/The Ancient Magus' Bride anime franchise held at the Shinjuku Piccadilly theater in Tokyo Sunday, a new trailer for the 3rd OAD and the 2nd PV for the upcoming TV series were revealed to the fans for the first time.
As with the first two, the third episode of the three-part OAD project based on the manga author Kore Yamazaki's original story "Hoshi Matsu Hito/Those Awaiting a Star" will get a two-week theatrical run in eight selected theaters in Japan from August 19, 2017, then will be bundled with the special edition of the manga's 8th volume to be released on September 8. As a special bonus, the first episode of the TV anime will be also screened.
The two-cour TV anime is scheduled to premiere in Japan in October 2017. As reported, George Wada, head of WIT STUDIO, and Norihiro Naganuma, the director of The Ancient Magus' Bride anime
will attend Anime Expo (July 1-4) and will screen the first three episodes of the TV anime.
