The purple-haired twins of Lucky Star have a birthday coming up, but it's not just any birthday. This is also the tenth anniversary of the fan-favorite anime series, so Kagami and Tsukasa will be celebrating in style with an official birthday party!
The Hiiragi sisters' birthday event will be taking place at the Washinomiya Shrine, the real-world basis for the show's Takanomiya Shrine and the location of previous Lucky Star-themed meet-ups. Events will take place on July 7 and 9, including cosplay games, art presentations by Lucky Star manga creator Kagami Yoshimizu, and more to be announced.
The sisters' voice actresses will be appearing as special guests, too! Emiri Kato (Kagami) and Kaori Fukuhara (Tsukasa) are scheduked to be present on July 9.
