With just a couple more weeks to go until the Made in Abyss anime adaptation drops, we've got tons more to see from the new title: a new PV, new cast, new key visual, and some theme music news to boot.
The new art and the new cast list both begin to reveal more of the characters and world of the series. Joining the main cast are:
Marulk: Aki Toyosaki (Yui Hirasawa, K-ON!)
Raiza: Maaya Sakamoto (Ciel Phantomhive, Black Butler)
Kiyui: Manami Hanawa (Kumami, Yurikuma Arashi)
Shiggy: Manami Numakura (Rio Nakamura, Assassination Classroom)
Nut: Mutsumi Tamura (Koshiro Izumi, Digimon Adventure tri.)
Ozen: Sayaka Ohara (Erza Scarlet, Fairy Tail)
Nanachi: Shiori Izawa (Miu Hiyama, Seiren)
Jiruo: Taishi Murata (Shun Ibusaki, Food Wars)
The new PV shows us the characters in action, as well as giving us our first sample of the OP, "Deep in Abyss" (performed by leading voice actors Miyu Tomita and Mariya Ise as Rico and Regu). The ED, titled "Tabi no Hidari Te, Saihate no Migi Te," will also be performed by the pair.
Made in Abyss premieres July 7 on TOKYO-MX.
