On the 57th birthday of the original manga author Hirohiko Araki (Happy Birthday!), the official website for the upcoming film JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable Chapter I today released a 90-second new trailer that finally reveals visuals of Stands including the protagonist Josuke Higashikata (Kento Yamazaki)'s Crazy Diamond and the antagonist Anjuro "Angelo" Katagiri (Takayuki Yamada)'s Aqua Necklace.
The first chapter of the live-action film series based on the fourth story arc of Araki's long-running JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga, directed by 56-year-old Takashi Miike (Yatterman, Terra Formars), is set for release in Japan on August 4, 2017. Prior to the film's Japanese release, its world premiere screening is scheduled to be held at the 17th Neuchâtel International Fantastic Film Festival in Switzerland on July 2. Director Takashi Miike and lead actor Kento Yamazaki are confirmed to attend.
