Ryotaro Okiayu Confirmed to Voice The Title Character in "Cleanliness Boy! Aoyama-kun"

Following the 60-second first PV posted last week, the official website for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of Taku Sakamoto's comedy manga series Keppeki Danshi! Aoyama-kun/Cleanliness Boy! Aoyama-kun today announced the voice cast for its three main characters and the premiere schedule in Japan. 

 

The protagonist Aoyama-kun who is obsessed with cleanliness is voiced by 47-year-old Ryotaro Okiayu (Treize Khushrenada in Mobile Suit Gundam Wing). His soccer club teammate FW Kaoru Zaizen is played by 44-year-old Tomokazu Seki (Domon Kasshu in Mobile Fighter G Gundam). And the main heoroine Moka Goto is voiced by Anzu Hirano (Yureru in Urara Meirochou). 

  

It is also announced that the Kazuya Ichikawa (Monster Strike)-directed series is set to premiere on Tokyo MX on July 2, Yimiuri TV on July 3, and BS 11 on July 4. More cast members will be revealed in

the press conference to be live-broadcasted on Nico Nico Live at 21:30 on June 19 (JST).

 

 

Manga author Sakamoto already visited a voice recording session and tweeted, "I felt the characters became

so alive and had their own souls by adding their voices, I was very impressed."
