Role Models and Romance Mingle in "Hitorijime My Hero" Preview

A new key visual (above) and a new trailer (below) have been published for Hitorijime My Hero, an upcoming TV anime based on the boys' love manga by Memeco Arii that examines the growing bonds between a group of young men.

The original Hitorjime My Hero is serialized in Ichijinsha's gateau manga magazine. The series is a spin-off of Memeco Arii's earlier manga, Hitorijime Boyfriend, and it focuses on the growing bonds between Masahiro Setagawa, an incompetent delinquent, and Kōsuke Ōshiba, a high school teacher who is bad at math but good at fighting. Masahiro has always felt that he doesn't need a "hero", but slowly his admiration for Kōsuke blossoms into something more.

Hitorijime My Hero will broadcast on Tokyo MX, AT-X, and BS-NTV beginning on July 08, 2017.
