Looks like major surgery isn't enough to keep X Japan's Yoshiki down. After announcing six acoustic shows and an appearance at Paris's Japan Expo, the recovering musician has added this summer's Anime Expo to his list. There, he will be appearing for the event's screening of rock documentary We Are X.
The screening will take place Sunday of the event in the JW Marriott Diamond Ballroom. It will be followed by a Q&A with Yoshiki.
In addition, We Are X will be the official sponsors of Anime Expo's cosplay masquerade, which also serves as the final round of the World Cosplay Summit's US division. The masquerade takes place Sunday from 8-10 PM in the LA Convention Center Main Events Hall B.
Anime Expo will be taking place July 1-4 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Check out the website for more info.
