According to Oricon's daily album sales chart for June 6, the top-selling album of the day in Japan was "Japari Café," a newly-recorded drama/character song album from the Kemono Friends anime franchise that sold 17,987 copies. And coming in the second was also the anime's original soundtrack album with 17,832 copies, composed by Akiyuki Tateyama (Wake Up, Girls!, Shimoneta: A Boring World Where the Concept of Dirty Jokes Doesn't Exist).
Since the sales number of the two are very close, it can be assumed that most of the fans purchased them together. There is no strong competitors during this week, so the two albums are expected to dominate the weekly sales chart as well.
