Funimation Licenses Live-Action "Tokyo Ghoul"

Funimation has announced plans to bring the Tokyo Ghoul live-Action movie to North America with a theatrical release planned. They describe it as a film based on the hit manga that inspired the anime.

Also American fans, grab a cup of coffee because there will be a YouTube livestream about the film in Japanese with English subtitles, featuring director Kentaro Hagiwara, actor Masataka Kubota AND a special internet appearance by the original author of Tokyo Ghoul, Sui Ishida!
