The official website for the upcoming new musical play adaptation of Yana Toboso's popular manga series, "Black Butler -Tango on the Campania-," today revealed its first main visual featuring Sebastian Michaelis and Ciel Phantomhive. 29-year-old Yuuta Furukawa and 12-year-old Reo Uchikawa, who played the two main characters in the 2016 play "Noah's Ark Circus" together, are confirmed to reprise their roles. While the 2016 show was Uchikawa's first musical work, Furukawa has played Sebastian since the re-run of the third musical "Lycoris that Blazes the Earth" in November 2015.
The fifth musical "Tango on the Campania" is based on the manga's "Luxury Liner Arc" which was told from its 51st to 66th chapters (in the tankobon 11th to 14th volumes). Ex-Takarazuka director Akiko Kodama serves as director. It will be performed in five cities in Japan from December 2017 to February 2018. General sale of the advance tickets will begin on October 1.
