2014 live-action Japanese drama Blue Fire, aka Blue Blaze, Blue Blazes, Aoihonoo, or Aoi Honoo, adapts Kazuhiko Shimamoto's (Honoo no Tenkousei or Blazing Transfer Student) manga about his student years at Osaka University of Arts, alongside Hideaki Anno, Hiroyuki Yamaga, and Takami Akai, and developing career as a manga author. The show is now streaming on Rakuten Group's drama-focused service Viki.
