Sony is now offering solid plans for their Evangelion branded Walkman music player. The special collaboration, based on the Android WALKMAN F series "NW-F887 (64GB)," is scheduled to be available in three models on April 24th.
Options include:
NW-F887/EVA1 - 43,000yen
This version features one of three Rebuild of Evangelion soundtrack albums installed
NW-F887/EVA3 - 51,000yen
All three album are installed
NW-F887/EVA3 with special earphone - ¥87,000
The Hi-Res audio compatible inner ear receiver "XBA-H3" is also included
The choice of a backside motif based on the "SDAT" audio player that Shinji Ikari used in the anime or NERV equipment is offered for the player.
The high-resolution F series added FLAC, HE-AAC support and, like the E series, plays MP3, WMA, L-PCM, and AAC format audio, as well as integrating with Sony Music Unlimited.
