Volume 60 of Katsu Aki’s Futari Ecchi manga has revealed that a new OVA adaptation of the series is planned. Cast and staff will be announced in this year’s issue 6 of Young Animal Arashi, out on May 2nd.
The series, which Tokyopop released in North America as Manga Sutra, follows a newlywed couple as they learn about intimate matters. It was adapted into a four-volume OVA by Chaos Project in 2002, which Media Blasters released as Step Up Love Story. It was also adapted into a live-action mini series for pay-per-view channel WOWOW in 2000, then a web series and live-action film series in 2011.
