I'm going to go ahead and apologize in advance for all the pain this post causes those in the west who have been hungering for Phantasy Star Online 2 for what seems like an eternity. It's still not on the way, but a simplified version called Phantasy Star Online 2es is set to hit iOS platforms in May.
An Android version of PSO2es hit Japan on April 7, and has since recorded around 100,000 downloads. The stripped-down take on the online action-RPG lets you create characters and explore dungeons on your phone or tablet.
