Hong Kong based Threezero offers their take on anime/manga’s first internally piloted giant robot hero Mazinger Z with a 40cm figure that Good Smile Company will be distributing in August.

The super robot legend has been brought back to life!
Under supervision of the original series author Go Nagai, threezero has created a brand new Mazinger Z figure that brings out the retro design of the series! The figure stands an impressive 40cm in height, and the paintwork all over gives it a heavy, metallic and even weathered look that truly marks Mazinger Z as the ‘Iron Castle’.
The figure is fully articulated down to the fingers and the Hover Pilder in his head can be removed and even deploy its wings. Lights are also included in the eyes and cockpit of the Hover Pilder. The Mazinger Blade as well as two Iron Cutters that attack to his forearms are included as weapons. The Iron Cutters can even change into a weapon specially made for this figure – the Mighty Knuckle!
