Based on a series of light novels by Yuichi Sasamoto, TV anime series “Bodacious Space Pirates” was broadcast in 2012. The series tells the story of girls’ high school student Marika Kato and her adventures following in the footsteps of her deceased father by captaining the space pirate ship Bentenmaru.
The store will sell a variety of merchandise based on the movie, and 0101 Annex cafe Patisserie Swallowtail Annex will be serving themed desserts. In addition, each day, 100 customers who make a purchase at the shop will receive a limited-edition “Bodacious Space Pirates” print. A sign for the store can be seen at the 0101 Annex first floor main entrance.
“Bodacious Space Pirates: Abyss of Hyperspace” opens in Japanese theaters on February 22nd. The shop will remain open until March 4th.
