The official site for the 2014 April Sci-Fi robot TV anime Knights of Sidonia, which is based on Tsutomu Nihei's manga of the same name, has posted the third key visual featuring a confrontation between the main robot of the show Tsugumori and a mysterious alien creature called Gauna in space. Also a new 15-second TV CM is now online following the video for the first one minute of the first episode posted last week. The site will be posting five more CMs weekly on every Monday.
It is also announced on Tuesday that popular voice actress/singer Eri Kitamura, who voices the 11 Honoka sisters in the show, will sing the yet titled ED theme song, while angela performs the OP song. The song will be released as her 7th solo single in Japan on May 14. The advance screening event for the first two episodes will be held at Toho Cinemas Roppongi Hills in Tokyo on March 16 with the main voice cast including Ryota Ousaka (Nagate Tanikaze), Aya Suzaki (Shizuka Hoshijiro), Aki Toyosaki
(Izana Shinatose), Sayak Ohara (Captain Kobayashi), Eri Kitamura, and the OP singer angela. The ticket
will go on sale on March 1.
