VIDEO: Latest Trailer for "Wild Adapter" OVA Introduces Theme Song

The official site for the two-episode OVA series Wild Adapter, which is based on Kazuya Minekura's hard-boiled manga of the same name, has posted the third promotional video. The PV introduces the theme song "Hyouryusha" (rover or vagabond) sung by the two lead voice actors Toshiyuki Morikawa and Hideo Ishikawa. The story revolves around an ex-gang leader Makoto Kubota (CV: Morikawa) who becomes the guardian of an amnesia boy Minoru Tokito (CV: Ishikawa) in Yokohama in 1990s. The two try to track down clues regarding the dangerous drug called "Wild Adapter" and Tokito's mysterious past.


 


The OVA series is based on the story of the manga's 6th tankobon volume and supervised by the original manga creator Minekura. The first episode "-ZEN- Limited Edition" was originally planned to release on January 24, but postponed to March 26. The second episode "-KOU- Limited Edition" is


scheduled to be released sometime in 2014.
