King Records' StarChild label has revealed the jacket illustration and 15-second TV CM for the upcoming Blu-ray box set for the 13-episode Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko TV anime series which was based on Hitoma Iruma's popular light novels of the same name. The illustration is newly drawn by the anime's character designer Asako Nishida, who is best known for her character design works for the Love Live! School Idol Project anime series.
The series was originally aired in Japan on TBS from April to July, 2011. But the 13th episode was not aired at the time due to the change of the schedule caused by the Great East Japan Earthquake. The episode was later included in the 7th volume of the DVD/Blu-ray released in February 2012.
The 7-disc box set is set for a March 26 release and is now priced at 19,269 yen (about US$187.93) at
Amazon JP. The set also comes with 2 CDs (character songs and original soundtrack), a 32-page full color
illustration book, one new and two spin-off novels, a 140-page full color booklet, and audio commentaries
for each episodes.
